After two months from the Birds Of Feather gathering, Antony published a nicely done table to show who and what does each registry provider offers.

Truth to be told, we were anxious to find out where do we stand in this competitive arena.

Put aside the big guns, Verisign, Affilias & Neustar. They have the financial capabilities especially Verisign to out run all of us registry provider (I could be wrong here).

But bring it down a notch, we have a very competitive edge here. Each and every of the registry providers has their uniqueness in terms of offerings and services.

As for us, where RegistryASP stands out is the ability to handle complex domain name policies that most ccTLD posses right now. In one case, would be HK extension. The other area we stand out is, our ability to bundle a competitive registrar solution together with the registry solution.

It was no surprise to see new faces due to the new gTLD wave. And i’m sure there are other registry providers out there who weren’t aware of this meeting.
